Talbott Tavern
Oct. 3rd, 2004 -By Thea
Here is a update of the hunt I attended on Oct 3,2004 at Talbott Tavern. Tonight I was fortunate enough to attend a ghost hunting session with one of the most popular Kentucky ghosthunters, and one of TMghosthunters affiliates, Patti
Star of Ghosthunters International, if you would like to view Patti's site we
have a link to her on our affiliates page. Patti is superb in her skill, and I was very impressed!
Our tour started at the Old Stable restraunt in Bardstown Kentucky, with Patti showing us a slide show of past tours in which she has caught some phenomenon on film, as well as some EVP. At one point she has actually got on film, from a camcorder, a shadow person, moving across a room and thru a door!
From there we visited some of the local areas, such as a privately owned home, as well as a local cemetary, where I took a few pics but was not able to capture anything on film.
From there we moved on the the Jailers Inn. The Jailers Inn was founded in the mid 1700's and was, as the name implies, a jail. Over the course of the years there have been several reported and documented cases of hauntings in the Jailers Inn. Today it is used as a bed and breakfast.
From there we moved onto Talbott Tavern. This is where the tour got exciting! Patti took a few pics of various memebers of the group and captured one of me with my hand stretched out, and a orb that seems to be almost sitting in my hand! I was thrilled, as this is the first time MY pic has been made with a orb!

*Note from Matt: What a great orb pic too!*
The Travel Channel named both Jailers Inn and the Talbott Tavern two of the most haunted places in the United States!
